Kolosov Vadim Aleksandrovich was born in 1974 in the village of Divnoye of Apanasenkovsky district in Stavropol region.

In 1996 he graduated from the Law Institute of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Russian Federation. 

In 1997 V. Kolosov started his career in Prosecutor's Office as an investigator of the Prosecutor's Office of Stepnovskiy district of the Stavropol region.

From 2000 to 2007, he successively sequentially displaced posts of assistant and Senior assistant of the Prosecutor of Ipatovsky district of Stavropol Region, the Prosecutor-criminalist and Senior investigator of investigative management of Prosecutor's office of the Republic of Kalmykia, the Prosecutor of Department of Prosecutor's office of the Chechen 

Republic, the investigator of Prosecutor's office of Kislovodsk city of Stavropol Region and the Deputy head of Ipatovo Interdistrict investigative Department of the investigative Department of the Investigative Committee of the Prosecutor's Office of the Russian Federation for the Stavropol Region.

In 2007 V. Kolosov was appointed to the post of Deputy Prosecutor of Apanasenkovskiy district of the Stavropol region. 

2008-2010 – Deputy Transport Prosecutor of Syzran the of the Transport Prosecutor's office of the Volga Transport Region.

2010-2012 – Syzran transport Prosecutor of the Transport Prosecutor's office of the Volga Transport District.

2012-2014 - Tatar Transport Prosecutor of the Transport Prosecutor's office of the Volga Transport District.

On 29 August 2014 by order of the Prosecutor General of the Russian Federation V. Kolosov was appointed to the post of the first Deputy of the Transport Prosecutor of the Volga Transport District.

Vadim Kolosov is Senior Counsellor of Justice. 

He is awarded the badge "For faultless service" and "Honorary worker of Prosecutor's office of the Russian Federation" by the Prosecutor General of the Russian Federation.

He is married and has three children.
